At Greis Beschichtungstechnik, we use state-of-the-art technologies to make our coating processes as sustainable as possible. Our goal: maximum protection with minimum use of resources. Precise application techniques, such as the airless process, enable us to significantly reduce solvent use. At the same time, we minimise material loss through targeted overspray prevention, ensuring efficient resource utilisation. Our optimally insulated production hall provides controlled environmental conditions with minimal energy consumption.
However, sustainability means more to us than just technological efficiency. We invest in the training and safety of our employees, foster long-term partnerships and continuously work on improving our processes. This includes testing alternative materials, using energy-efficient plant technology and systematically optimising our energy balance across the entire coating process.
Our exceptionally low rework rate also plays an important role in conserving resources: every job completed flawlessly the first time saves material, energy and time. In many cases, a coated carbon steel component can be the more sustainable solution compared to an energy-intensive, uncoated stainless steel part – offering advantages across its entire life cycle.
But our commitment goes even further: In 2025, we aim to achieve ISO 14001 certification to further enhance our environmental management system. For us, sustainability means taking responsibility – for our products, our processes and for the world we live in. A little more every day.
